Apparently so!

Last week I took a call from a potential client who entered into a handshake agreement with a builder to extend his swimming pool. The agreed price was around $24,000  the work took 3 years, there were many disagreements and disputes, owner did some work himself, There was no building permit, pool was built over an easement,  owner even prepared sandwiches for the builder and now owner was hit with bill for extras $50,000

This is the sort of comedy/tragedy that is difficult to believe it could ever exist but it does.
