Inspection of commercial and industrial property is subject to a different rules to that of a dwelling. This is partly due to legislation and partly due to the fact that it is a workplace. Owner’s/ employer’s duties include making workplace safe for people working there. That is a very heavy burden and if someone gets injured or killed it may lead to claims of criminal negligence and heavy fines and damages.You could loose a shirt of your back and be sent to jail.
