Expert Witness in legal proceedings is there to assist and give evidence and opinion in particular area of expertise.

It requires preparation and stamina. This is because when on a stand the expert is like a clay pigeon, with opposing barrister taking shots trying to discredit witness testimony , undermine his credibility and cut his confidence to shreds.

Most of the time it’s unpleasant experience and can be stressful and harrowing.

Recently however I had a much better experience.

My client was a lovely young lady and she brought a friend for support. There I was sitting between two lovely ladies playing a hero and getting paid handsomely for it.

The opposing barrister was a dud, sitting between two ugly farts. Eat your heart out.

Ha Ha. This is better than a Hollywood script!
