Few days ago I joined Homeone forum and contributed a number of posts.

Soon after I was accused of doom and gloom and pushing my own wheelbarrow.

The fact is I mostly deal with building problems. People call me when they have a problem a situation, issues with the builder or they just want a piece of mind.

This is just like a casualty in a hospital where you see emergency and never mind about other 4 million people in town that are OK.

I am always very outspoken about safety of children and also adults.

I viscously  criticise illegal construction, smoke detector neglect, swimming pool safety neglect and anything else that is dangerous around a home.

Just this week six children were lost in a house fire in USA on the upper floor of a house that did not have a smoke detector. Do you think I am over the top?
