Lat week I inspected a twenty year old home and it was perfect (almost). Yes it did have couple of issues but it presented very well for its age. It’s the sort of a home that can fool a prospective purchaser into a false sense of security. Why get an inspection? The home is perfect.

Both of the smoke detectors were missing and the family would be at risk. Some may think that I am harping on about something that is obvious and common sense but I regularly hear of people dying in fires in homes with missing or non functioning smoke detectors.
